[ REVIEW ] Silk Scarf Hair Treatment by ETUDE HOUSE

 

Familiar with this line? If you are not, let me tell you from by this post that any one from this line is simply awesome! It's Silk Scarf line that works for your hair!

For your information, my hair is kinda wavy but not that curly.. So, from up to to end of my hair, there is a big wave which become my specialty, even though I'm a bit sick of it.. :'( Well, again, even though is not really badly wavy, but sometimes it gets entangled with each other, and it's hard to comb my hair whenever I want to, sometimes it stuck anywhere and my hair falls off.

So, from the picture above, I'm only going to write about one of them, which is the Hair Treatment (the tube on the right side). It has been my all-time favorite since one year ago, when I became diligently using it every week, like twice a week.. Well, although it only works for one day, I still love it no matter what...

But, by the way, I got the other product too, which is the hair mist and the hair serum. Basically the function is the same. The difference is only when this thing is supposed to be applied..

The color of the tube is like dusty pink? Or.. pale pink? Hmm.. I don't which pink is it.. LOL. You tell yourself, with a bit bright sticker pasted on it. But! You don't have to worry, the sticker will not flake off~ I guess the sticker is so that high quality~ Hahaha

 Last year, this was the first hair treatment product that I bought from ETUDE HOUSE. That time, in the offline store is quite cheap and I thought, wow, it's worth it.. So, I picked it up out of curiosity. And who know it will makes my hair better?

The picture didn't come out really well I guess. The sun was not out or may be it was nearly evening, so it's a bit dark.. I'm sorry for this. I hope my explanation will be clear and you can understand it even with dark picture, hehe. But however, I guess ETUDE HOUSE should no more write any explanation with white ink! Especially if the background color is so light, just like this pink, and.... I guess... There was something else similar last time, when I did review a product..

Silk Scarf Hair Treatment

Specially formulated with oil complex and flower scent, this highly concentrated treatment restores and reinforces brittle and damaged hair, preventing future breakage and leaving your hair extraordinarily strong, soft, silky and manageable.

(Directions) Use once or twice a week. Massage into hair and comb through evenly with fingers. Let treatment works for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly

Just like an ordinary hair treatment / conditioner tube. The lid is a gold-like color.
Different from conditioner, which, in my case, I use it almost everyday.. I don't really know why we can't use this hair treatment everyday. May be it will cause the opposite if we use it too often, a damage... So, honestly I have never try it.
What's really good is, they even sealed the hole, so it won't spilled out. Because honestly, the lid is quite fragile, I mean the material..

Pink gel-like and it's cute! Smells indeed like a flower, but I don't know.. It just smells great!
The consistency is quite different with my Rejoice's conditioner. My conditioner has somewhat thicker and more concentrate and sometimes, honestly it's a bit hard to brush my hair when it's on my hair, like what I said. I don't know if you are like that or, may be just because my hair is always entangled with each other.. Geez...

Anyway, without conditioner or this hair treatment, my hair is always dry, especially the edge, and my hair would sometimes be tangled and hard to comb with my finger. That gives me stress :'(
I was thinking a lot about straighten my hair, or at least make it less wavy, but... Well, because of my eating habit, I'm a bit plump only on my body part and my head, when it is actually a bit small and unbalanced with my body, but my chubby cheeks makes everything balance.. So, I just couldn't imagine what if I straighten my hair, and what would I look like.. Hahahahahahahah Clown! No kidding... This is exactly what would it be..

Due to lighting effect and different places when I took the picture, the pictures above may not show a big difference. But what I can tell is, when I only apply a shampoo... My hair would not stay still, especially when the wind blows, and it becomes .... whatever. Hard to brush my hair...
When I apply another conditioner, it becomes smooth and easy to comb, but that depends on what conditioner you are using. Each of them aims for different result. And when the wind blows, the result is still the same with only shampoo -_-
And then, when I apply the hair treatment, it's easier to comb my hair whenever I want.. Even when the wind blows it away.. Just a light brush and light press on my head, and it will be normal again..

Conclusion:
To be honest, this product alone will be so effective, so I suggest you to buy another extra similar product like me. I bought the hair mist and hair serum, and now I'm planning to buy the hair essence too. LOL I have no idea what's the difference between hair essence and hair serum. The shampoo and the conditioner are not really necessary and in terms of price, it's quite expensive too, so it's not really worth it, unless you are so damn rich and want to look extremely pretty with smooth hair everyday, hahaha.. kidding..

So that's it about this hair treatment! This is so recommended if you have a dry hair and normal-type hair, and I assure you that it will works really well!

PROS:
1. Smells great and nice! :D Love it! Not too strong or too less
2. For a routine (weekly) hair treatment, this is affordable!
3. Smooth and silky hair are indeed the result! But only... for that day. Hahaha 24 hours only.
4. PINK PINK PINK PINK PINK ~~ Hahahaha


CONS: 
1. It only works on that day. And it doesn't make my hair better, to be honest, especially when I don't use this. Strong, silky, soft and manageable are only for THAT DAY you use this. LOL
2. Since the smell is not that strong, so it will gone for the next 2 or 3 hours, especially if you pass by smokers -_- Duuhh, right after that your hair will smell like smoke! But the effect will last for 1 day


DO I WANT TO REPURCHASE?
Of course! Nothing can compare to this right now... Nobody offers the same price~

[ REVIEW ] Zero Sebum All Day Matte Gel by ETUDE HOUSE

So, this is what I just bought recently. Just arrived last week and I guess it's still new in the market. I've never came across this thing before and I thought this product is really exciting!

 

Out of this 3, I decided to pick the tube on the right, which is.. as the title say, it's a matte gel. Just like what I said on my previous post . I was quite uncertain to buy this product because of the size. Only 65ml. I thought that I would use it regularly like a BB cream. However, I think this is really worth it compared to the center one.. I read somewhere that it's like a stick that you should apply especially on T-Zone when it's getting oily, and then rub it tissue, and it claims to be able removing the oil completely, but I guess you have to repeat and re-do the same thing over and over again...

I guess the writing and everything is so clear that I don't have to re-type everything again. Hehe. The weather was so bright when I took these pictures, and the color of this box simply supported everything. The color is so bright right? Haha..

So, From the box itself, I really love it. Unlike other ETUDE HOUSE packaging, which mostly is a glossy box, this one is like a thin box that is made of quite thin cardboard. Well, it may be damaged or torn if you want to keep the box, 'cause I decided to do so. May be they want to create an initial image of "matte" even before you open up the box.

Don't get fooled too.. The box has the same height for 100ml tube, but it's just a lie.. Hahahahaha

So, as the product itself...

Same with box.. The tube is matte white color and appear to be not glossy as well.. They clearly want to create that image so badly. Don't you think this color makes you feel a bit refreshed or somehow? This mint color is so rare among beauty product. Hahaha.

And then.. The smell is quite typical! I feel like I bumped into this kind of smell somewhere, and it's also like a gel-type but for medicine care.. However this product's smell is not that strong. Besides that, it's also sealed so... Safe!

So, about this, just like what I mentioned above... This should be applied on oily parts.. Such as T-Zone, and in my case is like chin part, and some small parts on cheeks, where usually pimples popped up. It depends on your skin condition. BE ALERT THAT It's only for oily skin!

However, this only gives us temporary effect. Not that long lasting.. In my case for this demonstration, even when I'm staying in an air-conditioning room, after 3 - 4 hours after applying, the T-Zone part especially, will become oily again.. And I have to re-apply again..

Let's try it out~!

In my case, the most oily part on my face is on my T-Zone.. So crucial that no matter how many times I try to wipe it off with hand, tissue or oil paper, it just keeps coming out..

So, You don't need so much, like how you apply a foundation. If for your case, the oily part is almost anywhere, I don't know what to tell you, to be honest.. Hehehe..
Mine, not only T-Zone, but also chin, the apple zone on my cheek, but not so much as T-Zone.
You only need this amount, and then apply it on T-Zone with circular motion, down to the nose, until you feel that every part has covered perfectly. It smells like a glue, but not leaving sticky feels on your face

Conclusion:

You don't really have to buy this for preventing sebum and oil all over your face. In my case, I usually place some blotting papers on the oily areas. It's cheaper and handy. Other than that... Umm.. I think there are still other substitute, but still from ETUDE HOUSE too, but not exactly like this, gel type.
If you still want to buy, I think you should pick up the powder pact too

PROS:1. Honestly, it does a great job. My skin ends up not really dry, but moist~
2. Since it's a small tube, it's still convenient to bring it anywhere as you skincare routine
3. Smells great, for me personally. Even though it's almost like medicine.. Or glue?


CONS: 

1. Only last for 3 - 4 hours in an air-conditioning room. So, for outdoor, I guess less than that, and what I can suggest you is you should buy the powder pact too. 
2. I think it's a bit expensive..?


DO I WANT TO REPURCHASE? 
Not really........... Hmmm...
