[ REVIEW ] Skin-fit Foundation in N02 Light Beige by ETUDE HOUSE and Comparison with Dior Foundation

Actually my Mom bought this foundation for herself, based on my recommendation. I know.. It seems that she was forced to buy it.. haha.. Read the story here !

My Mom was not really satisfied with this product because the shade is brighter than her skin tone, so it cannot covers well, especially because my Mom has a bigger pores than mine. She gave it to straight away after first trial.. Tsk tsk tsk..

This is the first foundation I really like! Note that it's slightly different with BB cream. In fact, maybe it is not even a BB cream. BB cream has a heavy textures, more like torture, haha kidding.. Just.. the feeling is different when apply those two..
And moreover, I don't have a CC cream, and I saw a lot of videos where they put CC cream as a first base of foundation, and then putting BB cream as another layer.

ETUDE HOUSE
Skin Fit Foundation SPF 30 / PA++ Light Beige N02

This is a fitting foundation that lightly glides onto skin for a clean and smooth look

It comes in a tube. Sparkling dull white tube to be exact, which I find it really cute and pretty! Princess' character right?
It also has a pump on top, unlike the BB cream which is at the bottom.

Before deciding to buy this foundation, my Mom usually used Dior (even until today). My sister gave her last year and she really likes it.. And unfortunately, as time went by, the foundation was almost gone.. So she was frustrated to find the new one..

Comparison

 For your information, Dior is not available anymore in Indonesia. The city where I stay, Surabaya, they have it before in one of the shopping mall, but then no more.. The same situation goes to Bali, where my sister stays.. She said that it's not available anymore for Indonesian, like what? Why?
That's why I told my Mom about this as an alternative, and it's cheaper some more..

The first demonstration was done with my Mom as a performer, and then next is me..

My Mom is a simple woman, so she doesn't really go into a hectic steps of doing a skincare after shower especially, unlike me.. hahaha.. So usually after shower, she sometimes cleanses her face with toner and then straight away to foundation..
Since my Mom has an allergy of certain food, this is just... a temptation for her.. She wants to eat something badly, but have to hold herself back. If she just doesn't care and eat, then she has to drink a medicine. So my Mom is actually looking for a foundation which can covers imperfection / 'pimple' of allergy correctly and she thinks that Dior is way too good for her! Perfect..

So for a testing, I asked my Mom to use the 2 foundations, Dior and ETUDE HOUSE and then go out and expose it to sunlight.
You can see the difference here. Besides the lighting, it also shows that for ETUDE HOUSE, it makes her face a bit pale but still brighter, while Dior matched her skin tone and covered her imperfection, which was mostly on her cheeks.

About the texture....

The light one is ETUDE HOUSE and the brown one is Dior.
Based on my observation, Dior is a bit heavy and thick, but it blends well with the respective skin tone, like my Mom's. The thicker the cream, sometimes it will be too hard to spread it wider. While for ETUDE HOUSE, as the cream matches my skin tone (my hand), it blends really well and both of them dry quickly once you apply.

Foundation is a foundation, for me.. So I need another layer to cover imperfection and darkness on my face, and finally I found the most suitable one, out of these 3 below!

Hehe, it's actually depends on what you are going to do that day. If you just need a thick coverage, means attending a short event, the first BB cream will be good. Or, if you just need a simple and light coverage, Garnier is good to go. And, if you are going to be out for a long time, I mean outdoor, the cushion is good to go because it's SPF 50.

For me, honestly, I used to apply Garnier Perfector! Because it's light, and brighten my complexion. In Indonesia, the shade available is only 1, and it matches my skin perfectly. Not too white, not too dark..

I really love how it blends with my skin and covers my imperfection like pimple marks and so on, but this is just foundation! But it has a brightening effect
I hardly describe anything about this, and I think I should recommend it to others who has similar skin tone as mine,


PROS:
1. The texture is not too heavy as a foundation. Even lighter than BB cream
2. It's affordable and cheaper cheaper cheaper than Dior!
3. Blends with my skin and has a good coverage, but not for my Mom
4. Pretty bottle!
5. It's so light! So handy! You can bring it anywhere, and it is suitable to be in your bag too

CONS: 
1. This is not really a CONS, but, I guess this foundation is suitable for teenagers only, around 17 - before 30 years old. And if your pores are quite big, I don't think this will works well for you. But if you insist to buy this, I can recommend you to buy perfector to refine or cover the pores
