[ REVIEW ] Drawing Eye Brow #01 Dark Brown by ETUDE HOUSE

Honestly, I'm not so into taking care my eye brow yet, but looking at every make up tutorial in Youtube or wherever, they all use eye brow pencil to draw on it and make it in an even shape. Essential thing, I guess.

I really cannot draw on my face nicely!! That goes to eyeliner too.
So anyway, this is my first time buying an eye brow pencil, and it's from ETUDE HOUSE, because they are very cheap.
It's Drawing Eye Brow...

The color of the pencil is the same with the shade in it. So it's dark brown. You can still differentiate it with the other color. Based on this picture, on the right side is the brush, while the left side is a pencil.
Note that it's still brand new and I just open it for doing this blog.

A little bit of story about eye brow, among the women in my family, I guess I'm the only who can't draw my own eye brow.. I'm almost 20 and I only began my experiment in make up around one year ago. My mom and my sister said it's so easy and that's why too.. their eye brows look more even than mine.
Oh yeah.. more than 10 years ago, when I was still a kid.. I banged into a sharp corner of a wall in my house. It was bleeding so much and... I cried a lot after that happened. It happened because I was playing hide-and-seek with my brother, and I had to hide somewhere. So, I covered myself with a blanket and crawled to nowhere, and I can't see what is in front of me... and then.. BANG! Almost torn my right eyebrow and left scars till now. And.. so, that's my story.

Moral of the story: Play hard, but not too "hard"

The moment I opened this and took a picture, it was probably the first time I'm holding an eye brow pencil to draw my own eye brow. So, I'm really sorry if doesn't look nice like you wish, LOL
Actually at first, I was only planning to draw it on my hand, but it didn't come really well like I expected, so I decided to draw on my left brow.

After convincing myself, okay, this is it, the first time to do this only with the phone as my mirror, because I'm currently in college library, because the lighting and brightness are perfect!! than my toilet.. LOL

Right, almost forgot, this pencil doesn't come out with box and without clear English explanation or direction.

I go to campus not for attending class but sitting on the library, doing my blog and assignment. LOL. This place is the most comfortable in my campus. That's why I'm completely bare-faced today, only applied BB cream and powder pact..

So, that's my story about eye brow.. Hahaha
Anyway, why I chose dark brown shade instead of black, because the black was not available.. Hahahahahahahahha

[ REVIEW ] Milk Calcium Nail Pack FACE it by The Face Shop

When it comes to Korean skincare, there is always something weird they offer, which you can never imagine, and think, "Why do I need that". That goes to this thing too. Back then, I was surprised to find that ETUDE HOUSE and may be most of the Korean brand have a mask, but not for face.. they have it for mouth, hand, nail, and even foot!
So, may be they indirectly tell you, "Hey, buy this thing instead of going to spa or massage service! Defitinely cheaper!"
And, yeah that's true. Last time I tried their foot mask and hand mask from ETUDE HOUSE, and that was really good, but you need to ask someone for a help.. massage.


This is... Nail mask, but anyway I've tried it before and I purchased another one. This one, doesn't require any help, because you can massage your fingers by yourself, well, can you?
Okay, this mask is from The Face Shop. It has 3 different main ingredient for different function.

 I've tried Lemon and Milk, but I wasn't really aware with what the function is, so, I just simply took it without knowing what it is for..
So, this time is Milk Calcium, for strength and prevent cracking.

Definitely what we always need. When our hands and nails are always dry, then dry cuticles can lead to cracking and exfoliate. That probably the most painful thing.

I purchased this in their store. Well, The Face Shop has a lot of offline store especially in Indonesia, a lot more than ETUDE HOUSE.
Actually I don't really like using The Face Shop product, but one time, I was unconsciously picking this just because they will give me a free face mask sheet for Rp100,000. Silly. For Indonesian, still too expensive, or they were just smart enough. Most of their product in an offline store mostly are above Rp50,000 or Rp70,000, even for a little stuff like cutie, little hand cream.
Almost no one sells this online.

So, let's check it out..
The direction and everything are written with Korean.
Only a sticker there, and written with Indonesian..

Face it 01 Milk Calcium Nail Pack
Function: Treatment concentrated on finger nails and cuticles, which contains calcium to strengthen nails.
How to use: Apply to the finger nails left and right hands that have been cleaned, massage gently for 10-15 minutes

You can do this treatment, may be.... once in two weeks or once a month. It's unnecessary to do it 3 times in a week just like a face mask.
After using this product, it's better for you to use hand cream right after. Your hand will experience the great thing.. unimaginable, hahaha.. I mean, moist and smooth.
And then, it's better to use this at night, may be when you are studying or after shower. It's really great! You can save up some pennies by using this instead of going to saloon or massage center.

So, end! This review is a little bit short, 'cause I have no more to talk! But, hey! If you got an experience of trying this, let's share together!

Owh.. anyway.. Happy New Year too!!
I'm so sorry for not updating this blog for more than a month I think, 'cause I got final exam and then holiday, and then Christmas, New Year, and then.. I'm back again to college, LOL

Let's talk about hand cream today!!
Many girls don't realize this. Even though their faces are oily, but when it comes to your hand, the majority will be that type of dry skin. It's just my theory, but I think is true, right? Because our hands do a lot of work and sometimes it gets exposed to sunlight, air-conditioner and dust more often, and we know that the skin on our hand is so thin compared to the opposite site (white/bright side)

Anyway, after I knew about ETUDE HOUSE, around 3 to 4 years ago.. I began to take care every little thing about my skin, which also including my hand. At first I found that it's quite useless, because it's almost the same like body lotion, but no~! The ingredients are different, even though now I couldn't tell it where, but I can feel the difference when I apply the body lotion or when I apply the hand cream onto my hand.

I gave my best friends, cousins, and MOM! a hand cream as a present for their birthday! And they just LOVE it!! Wanna know what kind of hand cream I gave them?
Okay,

First, let's just begin with me..
I've been using this hand cream these few months, and I put it at my closet for daily use, usually before I sleep at night.

I just love this a lot! Because it works with my nails too! My nails are not.... in a good condition may be because I always do a lot of polishing, once in two weeks or once a month, just not that healthy.
And I can feel that my nails are becoming more and more healthy every time after I use this! It is also contains almond, but actually doesn't really smell that nice. I thought it is going to be like chocolate smell, LOL but however, this one is really perfect for daily use, and they have small size too for traveling.


And then,
Second, is the hand cream in my bag, for traveling or whatever.. It is only 30ml.

I bought this before in Malaysia like on 2011 or 2012, and then I bought this, the same again last year. I just completely love it! It contains Shea Butter and I really love the smell! Just perfect to moisturize my dry hand after being exposed to sunlight or air-conditioner too often, well.. because I love to stay in a air-condition room. If you don't know what is She Butter, you can look up on the Google, but based on my little knowledge, Shea Butter is perfect to moisturize your dry skin, that's why if you aware of ETUDE HOUSE Alphabet Mask, there is one with Shea Butter. If your face is easily dry or whatever dry happens, Shea Butter is really recommended for you!


Moving next, to the one I gave to my best friend for her birthday..

Not all the four! Just ONE! It's Don't Worry I'm on Your Side, the yellow one. You know what when I saw this kind of hand cream? IT'S FLIPPING CUTE!!! Look at the rubber shoes they are wearing! I can take it off! Just like a barbie shoes!
My best friend was really happy when she got this. This line is completely adorable! You can give this for your whoever if it is still available in the store LOL. At least this thing can cheer you up with its word behind. I read it last time but I forgot, something like this I guess, "When you have nobody around you and you feel lonely, hold me tight and let me warm you with this...cream.." and... yeaaahhh.. just like that, the rest you can check it up on Google!



Next, fourth one, is from another adorable line!!

My Castle Hand Cream I think successfully wins the all the girls' heart with their captivating looking!!
Look how adorable and cute is that? It's a cube! Just like a house, you can see some reviews on Google, and I guess girls really love this line!
I bought 2 of this first, for my another best friend and cousin, the Pink Wish (pink) for my cousin and the Sweet Cookie (brown) my best friend. My best friend said it has a smell just like a chocolate cookies. And when I gave the pink one to my cousin, she just really really fall in love with this, that she never let anyone keep it but her LOL
I'm planning now to purchase the purple and the turquiose, and give it one to my other cousin and I'll keep the other one for myself. So tempting isn't it?

So, lastly, is my present for my mother last Christmas. The Body Shop threw a quite great sale and gift set in town, and I just can't help but purchase it for my mother, because she never have use hand cream.

This is the I purchased. It has 3 different smell of hand cream in it. Well, I can't really tell you a lot how it is, but seems great, my mom really loves this. It is also suitable for hand massage LOL. But honestly, I prefer to have chocolate or milk or butter smell rather than fruity or whatever, 'cause the smell just a bit terrible. There is one in this gift set smell a bit weww... complete misery man.. But If you don't care about the smell AT ALL, then I guess it's recommended for you.


Okay, so, that's it about my hand cream story.
These days I've been taking care a lot of my hands, especially my nails. What a miserable life they face hahaha!
What I can really say is hand cream is different with body lotion. Hand cream stays for a long time after I apply it and my hands are completely moist for the time being, while usually body lotion just last for 10 minutes or whatever, and then it is being absorbed by your skin, and then your hands are dry again.. That's just how I feel..

[ REVIEW ] Oh! M' Eye Lash Slimcara Volume & Curl by ETUDE HOUSE

Long time no see beauty bloggers! It's finally December and I haven't update my blog after I think more than a week.
So, straight to the point.This review is quite short anyway..
My review now is about the mascara from ETUDE HOUSE, but it's not an ordinary mascara. Like from the name, "slimcara", it's unbearably slim, unlike their mascara collection.

I bought this for RM19.90 in ETUDE HOUSE Malaysia, 'cause I always wanted to buy it in Indonesia, but not every online shops have it.

So, this mascara comes without box. Is other mascara from ETUDE HOUSE like this too? Comes without box, which makes me quite insecure, 'cause may be it's not new anymore.
I asked the sales girl too, to make sure that it's new, and she said yes and show me the seal too, but in this picture I already threw it away.

So, this mascara mainly is not for your upper lash, because the brush is so tiny.. you will mostly used it for your lower lashes.
I find this thing cute though, since I only began wearing mascara and eyeliner around this year on July. So, still a beginner huh? LOL. If you also find a similar mascara like this with a tiny brush, please do let me know.. Thanks..

Back to the point, let's see what's inside..

I can't focus properly, sorry. My hand was very shaky.

The brush is just like this..

and.. I did compare it with my MAYBELLINE Mascara Magnum Volum Express  too, which I used it so often. And the comparison was, wow!

Such a big difference huh? LOL

I only put it on my right lower lashes (pic: left) to see the difference.
Actually the picture taken around 1 week ago or around 10 days may be. I forgot, I think I already put the MAYBELLINE mascara on my upper lashes, but whatever..

And... It's done!!

 

I think I put too much though. The first picture was only 2 times, and then since I can't see the difference, I did more until around 5 times in the end.. LOL

So, girls.. The function of this mascara is not for upper lashes, or to make your lashes become thick! NO! And then, it does not really volume your mascara..

It only helps you to blacken your lower lashes, because if you use a big brush for that.. You know.. You can end up messing your other make up around your eyes.. End up erasing your blush or whatever under your eye and redo again and again..

PROS:

1. CHEAP

2. Finally you have the way to blacken your lower lashes without messing your under-eye make up!!!

3. Does not really takes space (Ofc! That's just a freaking tiny mascara!)

CONS:
1. I can't really see whether the contain is still full or not, because the brush is hardly picking up the contain -_- That I have to stir it and then whatever.....

2. NO BOX. Please 'BOX' your mascara, ETUDE HOUSE!!

3. Does not really volume, when they said it is to "volume and curl"

DO I WANT TO REPURCHASE?
No, not really. I find that I waste my money just for mascara if I have to purchase this.. Actually you can do that with other mascara too if you have your own way. This thing is only for you who loves make up and unique stuff, and that just like what I said, do not really want to mess up you make up~

From SaSa, I only bought some face mask sheets, so not really special though, hahaha. But I will do the review in future, just one of them.
I used to buy my face masks there so often, because it's so cheap!! How in the world beauty shops would sell 4 mask sheets for only RM10 (Rp37,000) ????????!!! If you buy 1 piece it would be more expensive, so you just can't help but buy 4, and they also have other brand (not only the one I bought), and also with various ingredients and come with colorful packaging, I suggest you should visit SaSa to buy some!
SaSa is more selling Japanese product I think, they sell those dolly / barbie eyeliner, mascara, and many more. Their packaging I will say is cuter than ETUDE HOUSE, sometimes.

Watery Face Pride Up Frozen limited edition by PeriPera

  

The thing is.... I just realized that actually Watsons has a lot and a lot of cosmetic counter! Well, of course other than Maybelline and L'oreal. It's common~

Like Clio , which currently staring Sandara Park as their model, and also, in2it , but my sister said it's not that good, since it's a lot cheaper.

And by the way, I just knew that Watsons has PeriPera counter too, even thought it's smaller than the other.

So, this product is Frozen Limited Edition, and I only bought this, and I don't know if next year they are still exist :'( and I don't know about the rest, Nawwwwhhh!!!!

What really attracts me at first is this cushion and then the powder pact, it's soooo cute!!!

it's featuring Olaf~ and also, the powder is so soft..............  you really can tell the difference between expensive and cheap powder pact.. LOL

Let me show you a glimpse of the cushion,

Only 2 shades available. The powder pact is also available in 2 shades only. This costs me RM89 (Rp329,000). WOWWW!! I will never forget this! My money is gone because of this!

I can't do the review for now, maybe nearly next year because I still have LOCK 'N SUMMER Cushion, so not now.. I just open it to show you.

Don't believe me? Fine,,

From this angle, you can see that PeriPera is wider and thinner, while ETUDE HOUSE is thicker in packaging. But actually what makes it big is the cover, or the lid, or whatever....

The difference is the refill, I guess you can see roughly that their size is different.

Alright. The sponge puff tells it all. ETUDE HOUSE is wider than PeriPera, like 0,5cm or less. I think you also can see that the fill is smaller for PeriPera, and I did try to exchange it, and... cannot...

This cushion is RM89, the powder pact is RM69, the lip tint I think is RM39, the eyeliner is RM49 or something, and the rest I forgot.. You can check it up in the website.

No. 4 is TONYMOLY.. 

Umm, this one also, I don't have anything much to say. It's just a face mask, and I'm gonna do it too in future, because the packaging is just too cute~!! It depends on what ingredients they used.

So, this mask is also very cheap and recommended!

It's only RM6.90 (Rp25,500)

No. 5 is guardian.. 

In Penang, I visited guardian too, but I just bought mask that cost me RM5.90 per piece, but since I took 2, I think I only have to added RM0.80 , So, only RM6.70 for two? Yeah right...

MADE in Korea too, man!

guardian in Indonesia doesn't have anything like that, made in Korea, even if they do, only a few..

This is really my last stop in KLIA, before departing to Surabaya, I tried to get so many things, but not really.. Hahaha.

So, ended up with this..

1. Vaseline Intensive Care 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly

 

 

This one is the same with the one that made in Arab or USA, it's just that this one is made in Thailand, and it's way cheaper than the one from USA. Well, you don't have to sail or ride a plane, since Malaysia and Thailand are neighborhood, LOL

This one is only around RM5 (Rp18,500), while the one from Arab or USA, usually more expensive, I think it's around Rp30,000 or more, and guardian in Indonesia has it, but they sell it 2x more expensive, ckckckc.

The packaging is of course different. This one is more simple and only this size available, maybe. I'll do the review in future.

2. MAYBELLINE NEW YORK Pure Concealer Mineral Healthy Natural

The size is just like a lip gloss! And I love it!!

I'll do the review too in future.

Actually I did try it before writing this, but it didn't work so much, maybe because it's light shade instead of natural shade -_- Grrr.. But what I can say is, maybe for such essence concealer, you just have to apply a little, unlike lip gloss, because it's creamy and spreads well, but that depends with you so...

 

No. 5 is DAISO Japan.. 

Daiso is known for their charcoal mask, so I bought 3 of them. The black tube is the same too, I was just curious so I bought it. 

Both are peel-off type, which you need the most. It removes black heads and white heads from your face, make sure to use it at least once a week. White heads are not only around your nose, but also on your
chin, near the eyebrows (T-line), and cheeks.

If you already feel that your face is not that smooth anymore, means there a lots of white heads, and it's time to use this.

So, finally, it ends here. Here's the things I bought when I visited Malaysia earlier this November. I bought so much things that maybe useful for you, in an affordable price. You don't to go to Korea or Japan to get these, just go to Malaysia is enough, it's pretty cheap, and they often throw a SALE for the whole month or certain season, usually near the end of the year.

Planning for holiday next month? Just go to Malaysia man, hahaha. Everything is cheap!!
